good, especially for the price, CLEAR, GREAT SOUND. The mic works well too. I got myself a phone number thingy through skype so I can call people from my comp since I HAVE NO CELL reception in my house. This gets the job done I like it.
I use this headset for Skype calls -- great audio quality both listening and speaking. Also use it for other audio on my computer, so I can enjoy the sound but others around me don't have to. Very comfortable, even over my glasses. This headset is a good value.
At the time of this writing the item page on Amazon says this headset works with both PC and Mac. I'm sure it works great on a PC, and the audio output worked fine - I could hear people on Skype - but they couldn't hear me. However, on receiving the headset I noticed the box only says it works with a PC. Nevertheless I tried it on my Mac and sure enough, the microphone doesn't send any data to the computer. In case you're wondering, yes I checked that my settings in Skype were correct.So, do not buy this product if you intend to use it on your Mac. Experience has shown that your best bet is to go to a store and make sure it says on the box that it's compatible with Mac.
The sound control device is handy. I bought this headset so I could listen to Internet radio at work. I don't need the microphone and would just as soon detach it, but that does not seemm to be possible. The sound quality is surprisingly good. The fit is comfortable (much better than ear buds). Logitech also makes a wireless version of this headset Logitech 981-000068 ClearChat Wireless USB Headset - Black, but for about four times the cost.
This is a great, inexpensive option for a headset. I haven't had any problems with it and would purchase it again.
